A communication platform built for schools
Over at Remind we are been building a Communication Platform that enables Teachers, Students, and Parents to share all of their digital content from wherever they are.
As the lead designer, I have been responsible for creating a system in which third party educational content providers such as Google Classroom, Quizlet, Microsoft OneDrive, and more can plug into our Platform and reach our 31 million monthly active Teachers, Students, and Parents.

A new way to compose
Teachers, Students, and Parents can now access all of their integrations from within the composing experience by opening the Attachment Card UI. This area enables Teachers to access the tools they use most at the time they are sending a message.
Seamless content sharing
I was responsible for designing a content browsing experience that would work across many different integrations - from Google Drive to Quizlet. I created a system of components that would extend to the various needs of each integration.
Our partners are able to plug and play with Remind's API to enable file sharing, folders, search, previews, navigation, and more all while staying consistent to Remind's design system.
All of your files in one place
Nearly 57 million messages are delivered with additional content every month over Remind.
Once a file has been attached to a message and distributed over Remind, all of those shared files are accessible within the Files Tab. Files are not saved locally - so users accessing these files can view and access files over a web view within the product.
This enables teachers to share resources, assignments, and more over Remind and students and parents can find all of their class's digital content in one place.
Flexible Integrations
Like all of Remind, we ensure that these integrations are accessible from wherever our users are - across iOS, Android, and our desktop web product.
Schools and Districts on the Paid Remind Plan are able to set up LTI and LMS integrations, allowing people in their organization to share to Remind directly from a partner site. We've also enabled organizations to integrate with their preferred Learning Management Systems like Canvas or Schoology.
